Default Hell's answer to the Chuckle Brothers.

OK, on a light hearted note I do think Jezza Clarkson and Phil the Duke are a hard act to follow in the un PC stakes. Both are known for not suffering fools or snowflakes gladly and they say things as they are, be they sexist, racial, or what ever.
Feel free to comment, but keep it light or the man with the big yellow car will close the thread.

I've always liked Clarkson in a weird kind of way, he is such a 'loose cannon' and given free reign he will broach most subjects with utter disregard for the consequences. I'm aware he is wrong to do and say some of the things he does but that's what amuses me about him.
Whether we admit it or not .. most of us enjoy a giggle at someone elses expense and he seems to be able to push that envelope to the extreme.
I was totally gutted when the show was axed due to him being an idiot as I really enjoyed the relentless badgering and mickey taking out of Hammond and May.
PC or not ... for me it was a brilliant show for both petrol heads and anyone wanting to watch 'bafoonery' at it's very best, after all ... it's an entertainment show and entertain it did, maybe not for everyone but I liked it.

Philip on the other hand just annoys me, Clarkson does it for effect and ratings, Philip does it because he know no different. imo.

Frankie Boyle has his moments - but I don't find him quite so cutting as he used to be

Totally agree but it's precisely because he's a c0ck I like to watch him and his minions mug themselves and each other.

Yeah, I watched a couple of episodes of the grand tour but to me ...it just wasn't the same, it kind of lacked something I couldn't quite put my finger on, almost a bit 'wooden' if you know what I mean.

I know what you mean but I can’t describe what it is either

I had no idea they were both cooks . . . . oh sorry, I misread that

Used to like Frankie Boyle in his Mock The Week days, some of his remarks creased me up but he's just gone . . . . strange? . . . . now.
