Default inline Renault 5 thermostat

does anyone on here have one of these fitted to a rover 2.0 cdt ,and are they any good ive seen them for sale at dmgrs

Yes, I have one fitted.
Very easy to fit, in comparison to the original.

My car now warms up, which is handy this time of the year.

Default Inline thermotat

Have fitted Renault 5 stat into 5 of my diesel tourers and in each case mod has been very good nice hot cars even when the beast in the east paid a visit last year.Just get one and fit.

Really worthwhile mod if you don't have the time or the patience to sort the original. My cdt never got above the blue dot even after 10 miles, fitted the Renault stat as advised by the peeps on here and hey presto ... toastier than a really toasty thing in under 20 mins of running .

Same here. Cost virtually nothing, simple to install, works perfectly.

Sounds like eBay feedback.
