Default Rover 75 CDT (2000 W)

The car is now sold. Thanks to all who expressed an interest!

Rover 75 CDT SE Club. Manual.

March 2000 (W) in rare (possibly unique?) Tahiti Blue (Code: JRJ).

Mileage 144,500.
Black leather heated, electric interior. (Retrofit).

Electric rear blind, CD changer & full mat set (Both rubber & carpet-mat types, all factory).
PPD Wood etc.
Insurance friendly Ron-box fitted. MG steering wheel & airbag.
Two working remote keys.

Sat Nav system (Win CE6 tablet-based).

Currently fitted with a set of 18" 11 spoke MG alloys, with virtually new Avon tyres (all 7mm+ tread).
I also have 17” Subaru alloys (see sig pic) or some 15” Crown alloys
(as I believe they're called!), all with decent tyres as alternatives if the 18” wheels aren't wanted.

Clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder were done at 121k miles in June 2015.
Stat mod, EGR delete, PCV replaced & Plenum mod.

Loads of history & records.

It's a nice looking thing & has been a super-reliable car. It runs/drives very well.

I would keep it and do the work, but storage, time etc. prompts sale
as it is effectively a 3rd spare car I've kept because I like it!

The not so good...

No MoT. (Expired last w/e).

Stuff I know it'll need:
  • N/S front wishbone.
  • O/S Front bush (Supplied, from MGRS).
  • O/S lower rear suspension arm, ~corrosion. (2x arms supplied. 2nd hand in v.g.condition).
  • Offside ARB link dustcover. (Supplied, plus a new arb link if needed).
  • Handbrake mech. (I started with a new compensator and front cable). Needs shoes fitting (Supplied) and adjustment.

Emissions should be okay, rear box is fairly new too.

Rears of sills possibly okay, but the New MoT is rather strict in that regard?

Everything works (though the a/c, regassed & serviced in 2016, was getting
a bit feeble by summer's end).

The Sat Nav works well, but, being a Win CE6 system, the software loads slooowly.
It works as a media player too, music & video.

The stereo works from the steering wheel controls & I've used it without
issue for 2 years+. Easily removed if not wanted. (There's a Symphony
stereo behind the Nav).

It'd either be an excellent source of spares with some decent alloys
(& tyres!), plus the seat loom is easily removable to retrofit another car,
or it could be made road-legal at minimal cost if you can do the work yourself.

With all the spares and the 18” alloys, I want £350.00.

If any part(s) aren't wanted or alternative wheels are fitted, price can be adjusted accordingly.

(The 18” 11 spokes with worn tyres sell for around £140 all day long & I've seen them advertised for £395 from some optimists!)

Located in S.E. London. I can help re. Delivery, but please: Ask first!!

(NB: More pics on my eBay listing, link to follow).
