I had something similar some years ago. I had asked for double yellow lines or at least parking to be moved back from a junction because of poor visibility and traffic not slowing, although not speeding. Just as the council were to consider the request there was an accident at the junction. Poor visibility was blamed and so the council put down double yellow lines or moved the parking, I cant recall.
