Default Frozen at -2

Looked out my window this morning I saw an igloo parked in my driveway, I wasn't going to walk my son to school in all that ice and snow.Couldn't open any doors as they were all frozen solid, so got a jug of warm water and poured it over the outside of the drivers door lock but being careful not to let it get inside the keyhole. Opened the door, turned the car once and she fired up Didn't bother opening the other doors as I hoped the heat generating in the car would defrost them for me( it did) By the time I had scraped the door windows the rear and front screens were already defrosting.

Within fifteen minutes she was all defrosted and ready to go.
Unfortunately my neighbour was still struggling to get his 3 year old BMW to start.

Was snowing heavily yesterday around the High Wycombe area but not settling on the roads.
This morning the roof of the caravan port looked as if it had been snowing but just a heavy frost.
Really appreciate the FBH in my car but the wife's Focus is no slouch warming up

How long before some idiot does an impersonation of a tank driver, peering through a tiny slit cleared on a frosted windscreen.

We had -7 where I live last year, and yes, it started first time. Mind you, it is kept in a garage overnight. It was -2 inside the car when I ‘clocked on’.
