I have my late brothers Fokker Tri-plane that he bought weekly to build. Never been touched, still in it’s original packing. So if you want to take on a challenge let me know.

The ad quotes a website battleshipbismark.co.uk. Tried to have a look at it just out of curiosity but all I get is "Sorry, the website battleshipbismark.co.uk cannot be found"! Today is the first time I've seen the ad but you'd think the website would exist before the ad went live

I've seen a few I wouldn't mind having a go at but the price is prohibitive to say the least. If my other half found out I paid £1,000+ for a model I'd have to visit A&E to have said model removed from a certain orifice about my person!

Today, it was a Colonoscopy under sedation and I didn’t feel a thing. I declined photos of the sights. Believe or not, I am a bit of a wuss when viewing my insides. All that was found was haemorrhoids, much relief! I am back home this evening. I can get back on with life and Photography. Still no results from the stomach ulcer biopsy. The Gastroenterologist doesn’t think there is a malignancy and he doesn’t think the ulcer is caused by the H. Pylori infection, because of its location. He said - No booze or spicy foods for the next 3 months.

In follow up, I wanted to bring closure. Thank you all for your concerns and especially a big thanks to the reprobates for the witty humour

Thank you very much Steve .... well you never know

Getting back to model aircraft. My late Father-In-Law, was a hobbyist after his stroke and built model war planes and he took up painting war scenes as part of his therapy. I will see if I can take some photos of his collection and post them up.

My son had one of these cameras to swallow - he had recurrent appendix type symptoms but the Surgeon was not convinced it was appendicitis. And thanks to this camera he was proved right.

Great bits of kit made in Northern Ireland

He came home and passed it later that day and we all stood round the loo marvelling and laughing at the bright blue light flashing in the bowl.

We did retrieve it with a view to cleaning it up and putting it on the Christmas Tree - but sadly the battery could not be changed

Glad nothing sinister lurking Phil.

Hope your rear end isn't too sore tomorrow when the pain relief has worn off

That's a relief Phil - glad to hear the results. Let's hope you can now leave illness behind for a long time - you seem to have had more than your fair share these past few years.
