Continued to prepare my 2002, SORN'd Tourer to go back on the road. Several 5 litre containers of diesel, new tyres fitted and had the front brake pads out, wire brushed everything greased the sliding surfaces and put it all back together. Had a good look with the inspection lamp and dodged the showers. I even managed to get the brake wear sensor off and back on without breaking it!

All being well, I will do the back next week, change the insurance over and then it's the man with the clipboard!

Instead of booking MOT on Monday, I'm going to have the whole fleet picked up by the scrap man, and I'm buying myself something reliable.

God I hate these damned things

You love 'em really, Brian. You should see the list of things that my new one needs! Some people have a strange idea of a "stunning example".

Anyway, what would you rather do - this or decorating!?

Decorating for sure, but I settled for retrieving the tin tent, and giving it a wash, then Mr 2DERVS put in an appearance, and we sorted the bonnet on the tourer.

JFM tourer , beats hands down the Disappointing Grey tourer I was driving today, even if it does have a premium bumper

With a premium bumper, even DG can be forgiven The JFM tourer looks great - until you try and read the IPK!

Fitted a walnut steering wheel to my car, very happy with the new look.

Spent a good few hours cleaning it, surprising at how well the Autoglum EGP had held off the muck!
Got to use my DAS 6 pro for the first time, so much fun

On the 75 I moved the hazard and door locking buttons from the dash back to their original position. Clayed the car with whitetac, quick polish and wax. Fixed the driver seat belt that wasn't retracting properly then a wee kip after that!
