Jan and John, thank you very much. Tomorrow we are leaving the bush and driving back to Nairobi. It’s lovely here with the views and the wildlife, remote and quiet. It’s not long now before we are in the UK for the rest of the summer. I am looking forward to seeing you both at the National Meet and catching up. Will you be taking your picnic with you, perfect! A happy memory of the kettle from the POL 2015

Bye for now,

Jessica and Phil

Only just spotted this Phil - my excuse is we've been hectic since returning from our jollies.
Hope you're well on the road to mending - and soon on the road (well, air really) to good old Blighty - best wishes from me and 'er to you

Great stuff Rod and Angela, thank you very much for the wishes. It’s nearly 2.30 am, so I ought to be turning in. Welcome back from your mammoth caravan tour. I expect to see lots more holiday photos from your safari

Thanks Roy for doing the birthdays. Today I had a bad reaction to the injection the dentist gave me, the throat swelled up and I had trouble breathing. Fortunately he gave me another shot and the swelling went away. I carried on with the treatment - filling a cavity, but the reaction to the L.A was unexpected, a bit scary and took it out of me for the rest of the day. It was not a good experience. No offence to dentists, but I am not very fond of them.

I’m glad they could sort the swelling quickly, it sounds really scary having a reaction like that to a bit of local anaesthetic I’d listen to Jessica if I was you mate, she’s a very clever lady who only has your best interests at heart. Avoid the meat if it’s going to do things to you that aren’t pleasant, hopefully we’ll be able to catch up at some point this year while you’re on your travels

Glad the dentist had an antidote to the local anaesthetic

Sounds horrible and very brave of you to continue with the treatment after that Phil

As Tony said, looking forward to catching up with Jessica and yourself when you are both back in Blighty.
In the meanwhile look after yourself Sir
