SRS light
Could someone in the know please confirm that a faulty connection on the blue plugs for the seat belt pretensioners under the front seats can also bring on the SRS air bag dash light.

Either of these connections will bring up a fault, 1 plug is for the seat belt pre-tensioner (The bit you plug the buckle in to) The other connector is for the side air bag in the back rest side next to the door.
Hope this helps give a better understanding. |

Just whilst we're on this subject, I've just about had enough of the plugs under the new drivers seat that I recently had fitted to Ed!
If I hard wire them, (I haven't checked yet) once the plugs are cut off, are the wires that I'd be joining, the same or different colours please? |

Its a simple circuit Mark, polarity makes no difference. Wee tip, add about 6" of wire, makes sure the wiring won't be affected by seat movement again.

Thanks!
Typical, I've just been out in him and the light went out! So I'll leave as is for now, but if it comes on and stays on again, the plugs are definitely going! |
