Wet Weather season do not be catched out
HI Members / Owners
Try not to be one of many over the next coming months when the weather catches a few owners out, the build up of water can take place over a few years then all of a sudden the carpet will take no more and shows it's swimming pool check now while you maybe still have time to sort it out. Arctic

Yes that's the set you need the three large ones in white at the bottom well four really, but if it is a saloon use two for the front tubes and use some garden hose for the rear ones in the boot which are easy to get to and fit

An Alternative to the £11 Halford kit
I finally got some sunroof drain water in my passenger footwell, but could not bear the thought of paying £11 to sort this problem out (i am quarter scottish), so I bought a pack of two 13mm hose connectors (from Halfords - they are black) for £2.90, then found that a Berol felt tip had a body tube that fitted very very snuggly into both the tube coming down from the sunroof and the 13mm hose connector. The 13mm hose connector fits snuggly into the bulkhead outlet tube as well.
Its rained a few times since I fitted it (the carpet is out and still drying) and there have been no leaks. |

Another solution but I prefer that the sunroof tube goes into the connector or what ever device people use, rather than the going over the object as is your case the Berol felt tip, which I doubt many will have lying about. if you do not have connectors what most people or homes will have are these below garden hose and or sealant tube tops.

Hi Members ?owners those with a sunroof start checking the carpets for damp or wetness over these very rainy wet cold days & nights, also do the drain tube mod if you have not done so already stay dry and smell free.

Hi Artic,
My passenger footwel was dry when checking it prior to purchase, but there is some water there now. Trouble is its been non stop rain for a few weeks down here I will follow the instructions in this thread and hopefully fix the problem. I have a tourer, any other sunroof drains to check?
