Default Resister

A 2.2 ohm resister (eBay) connected in place of the air bag will tell you which bag is at fault when the light on dash goes out.

Many many thanks to all who are offering input on this problem.
I will have a play about under the driver seat tomorrow and see where that leads.
Look out for an airbags deployed post or listen for the bang tomorrow.😄.

Am I right in thinking that you meant to say,

'A 2.2 ohm resister (ebay) connected in place of the sensor will tell you which sensor is at fault....' ?

Default Airbag warning light

Try Jules in Colwyn Bay. He replaced my underseat connectors.

Big Russ is just off Junction 27 M62 - at Liversedge -so only 10 miles from Garforth - you are lucky to have a T4 Guru so close.

Smile Air bag light on

As other members have said, there is no man on earth that knows as much as "Big Russ" when it comes to a 75!

As above, it's not perfect and not for purists but........strip connectors. Did this 3 yrs ago and no problems since, it's more of a positive 'clamp' than shoving wires in sleeves.
