Skullcaps
Cant say I'm a great fan of the replacement chrome skull caps for our door mirrors, mine are looking a bit tatty thou. Has anyone ever removed and resprayed them with rattle cans, I take it the first coat would be a plastic primer?

Yes mine are colour coded, starlight silver MBB. I've bought a can of base coat and a can of laquer from Paints4u for a small job on one of the sills so am thinking of redoing the skullcaps.
