I have noticed that both ends of my intercooler are damp and covered in black gunk. I only changed the rings a few months ago. but its both ends of the rad, does the rad need replacing or can I service it?

Thread revival from 2008 ................is this a record

The intercooler not really repairable at the ends as they have crimped plastic casings on to the aluminium matrix

Hello colleagues. After replacing the O-ring, my performance and strength improved significantly. But only in RPM, when the turbo turns on. Until then, it's so lazy and slow. Do you have any ideas on what to go for? Thank you. (I thought of MAF, it's original, 20 years old ...)

Disconnect the MAF and report back.
If it's 20 yrs old replace it with genuine Bosch
