Did the locks work on unlock prior to this?
Will the door unlock with the key with the booster connected? |

I have seen on here an instruction to stand very close to the car and press either button on the key fob 4 times quickly to re sync it. Not sure if it works.
In the past Bigruss warned against the attempt to unlock the car with a flat battery as there was evidence that it could upset coding. drop him a PM to get his attention, see if he has any further info, he is not a million miles from you just off the M606.

Prior to the flat battery / lockout the car locked and unlocked on the remote, but has never opened on the "physical lock" during my ownership. (And the car came to me with one key only)

Worked for me too. Touch battery leads together (with the battery well out of the way - it was in the kitchen recharging), Connected up my booster pack in place of the battery and pressed the "lock" button on the keyfob 4-5 times, as per the owners handbook, to reset the fob. First time I did this it didn't do anything except confirm the car as locked (the locks clunked on the pressing of the keyfob) but I disconnected the booster, repeated the process and the next time one of the back doors opened. I'll investigate further but at least I'm in.
