When I was (a lot!) younger we lived in Berwick. I was in the Air Cadets and was something of a hot shot, 25 yards .22 rifles, live ammo not airguns. I regularly represented the Northumberland region in competitions. Anything below 95 out of 100 was disappointing, 99 was regular and an occasional 100.

The current air rifle is purely for pest control, primarily long tails that come in from the old mine/mining museum next door.

Mine is a week on Sunday, at the health centre in Musselburgh.

Hi Steve, working on the railways, driving trains and being a great shot, playing the Strat, you have led an interesting and varied life, so do keep telling us about it. Jessica was trained in firearms in Africa from an early age and has told me if I am caught playing away, I will be shot!

Never thought about my life that way Phil. Also did full bore shooting in the cadets, the good ole' Lee Enfield .303 WW2 vintage, at an open air range at Ponteland, on the outskirts of Newcastle. The .303 had a kick like a mule and if you didn't hold it tight into your shoulder you'd regret it.

Well they said they'd deliver my bags of well rotted donkey doo's by 4:00pm today but nowt again Our Virgin media broadband is playing up & taking multiple times to connect to any site with constantly timing out messages Cant report it to them online as it wont connect to their site & I lost the will to live waiting for them to answer the phone Best to have a few swillys & leave it til tomorrow as I've run out of patience.

Cool

Morning everyone from gale force winds Newquay.

I might have a view of the sea from the hotel windows, but because of the gale force winds I cannot open my window.

Good night last night with lots of falling down water.

Morning all.

Glorious sunshine here . Chilly wind though.

Quizzie's been out with Bridget for a romp and a swim. Now curled up, asleep.

The rain isn't due until late afternoon, so it'll be a few bits and bobs outside under the "direction" of SWMBO.
