Went out, got what I needed to get, apart from anything involving going to B&Q, that can wait. Just back, knackered!

Don't think Quizzie will go with a cat .

There are a few cats that live nearby. One is a particularly efficient remover of vermin, but she doesn't go anywhere near the squirrels. .

Thanks for the idea though.

Hope all goes well on your return journey, and you don't need any expensive extras on the way.

Trouble is 99% of cats will regard the birds as fair game, rather defeats the purpose of putting a feeder out.

Had a dig in the shed, in all the small boxes of "things" and found some small screw in eyes which is one thing I was after in B&Q. All because my other half wants lights up at the front of the house, there are eyes up but not for the full width of the eaves, there was a short section at one side of the door wasn't done. Last time we had them up the wind did for them.

Evening all, spent the day on the phone sorting things out.. Then i get a letter from Copart saying they want to collect the dorchester for salvage!! I have told them in every written correspondance that the car will not be leaving my possesion and that i will be repairing it and returning it to the road.

Why oh why don't folk listen?

Talking

The picture of it reminds me of an old movie, the name of which escapes me for now, but the scene with the rocking chair and shotgun is still in my memory together with the chorus of the hymn that was sung:

Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting ... BANG! BANG!

Cool

Morning all.

Not the best of nights sleep, pain in the right knee kept me awake. I hate taking painkillers but in the end I had to give in.
