Maybe she can help out with the boredom by helping out with the food .

She did, she had some fish, strangely she’s back in now curled up by the fire.

Up early as it's grandson day today. The best "smiley" day of the week ! It's rumoured that he is going to be bringing his bike with him, so I had better get my running shoes out! It's one of those without pedals that he just pushes with his feet but he can still get up to a fair pace. Onward and upward. Take care folks.

Cool

Morning everyone.

Overcast this morning.

So after the Bear was sent off yesterday morning I did some gardening. Weeding and dead heading the side and front garden.
Seeing as the sun was out and it had turned warm I decided on a walk was in need.

So I walked into town and across the bridge into England. Then walked home, toyed with the idea of waiting for a bus but carried on walking. Managed 5.12 miles in total. And not out of breath. Happy with that.

The Bear Arrived at Chris’s garage at 14.30 yesterday afternoon.

Morning All,

Nice Dry start to the day and glad the wind has died down, it was a bit wild last night!

Morning all.

Looks like it rained overnight. Now it's just settled into the boring dreary grey we've had for the last few days with a bit of drizzle to really smack it home.

Took M-in-L over to Sis-in-Law last night for a hearty one pot of chicken with lots of different veg and lashings of gravy. Followed up by a lemon pudding. . Just looking at when she's coming to ours .

Met "Ted" Sis-in-L's new Scottie dog. He's only a few months old and is in the needle teeth and yappy bark phase. He's lovely but I'd forgotten just how piercing and annoying it is . Good job we didn't take Quizzie - I think she'd have given him a very swift lesson in acceptable doggy behaviour if you're after fuss and cuddles and, ideally, FOOD .

Take care and stay safe.

Had to get up early today to go to the local PO delivery office. My wife's aunt in the States sent her a parcel but sent it as commercial goods instead of a gift, we got stung for thirty quid customs charges
