Help needed none locking ZT 190

HELP!!!!!

i have a 190 with a locking issue

will not lock from remote central locking will only unlock all doors but not lock (only drives locks) and no LED for alarm and bbus silent. I have searched with toaf with no joy, so i contacted Jules

in colwyn bay and yesterday a T4 session was carried out. But to no avail all we could figure was maybe the BCU as corrupt connection so today change it and reprogramed to match car with correct chassis number. But no still not working we cheeked EWS and is working and talking to T4 but with a security invalid code. The EWS has heavy water damage as car was stood for 5yrs (sunroof nuf said). New carpet and sunroof mod done so dry and back on road, the infa red is working also. Only other points not checked is wiring as Jules thinks it maybe at fault also will check once Rave disc arrives.

Any imputt would be very helpful if i cant sort this i will forced to fit aftermarket alarm system which i dont wish to do

Hi Kristian,

I'm no expert on the EWS but I'd have thought that you've found evidence worth taking seriously.

The car won't lock if the ews doesn't tell the car the key is no longer in the ignition.
Best bet would be to get the ews sorted, then move on from there.
Any of the traders that can do keys should be able to help with transferring your data to another ews unit.
