Unhappy No longer a 75 owner

Last October my wife wrote off her car - it was a wonder that she wasnt seriously injured, thankfully she walked away unharmed.

Anyway the insurance ('In Sewer Ants' as Terry Pratchet called them) company wormed their way out of paying out and I had to replace her broken Verso at much expense with a Ford Galaxy.

Then in December my wonderful 5th Gear Car dumped all her coolant - water pump had died . Not letting my garage go near her for such a crucial job and being skint I was forced to SORN her.

Lucky Forum master Jules and his lovely wife popped down yesterday and rescued her

Im extremely grateful that he did this - I could never have scrapped or part ex'd her and current financial constraints prevented me from doing anything else with her.

Not being a 75 owner and now a single car family I asked Reebs to remove me from RS status - thanks for the opportunity!

With luck I may someday become a 75 owner again. The past 7 years of ownership have had some stressful moments but for the greater part have been pleasurable!

However it was with a tear in my eye as I watched her drive away for the last time

Sorry to hear this, life does tend to throw a few curveballs at us from time to time.

I'm sure you'll get another 75 at some point though, they are kinda addictive

Cool

Sorry to hear the news. But not long and you'll be back behind the wheel of a 75/ZT again.

That's a real shame Lee, having had the pleasure of sitting in your car I know that it was/is a beauty

Hope you get back to 75/ZT ownership soon and maybe see you down mine again for another wireless

I look forward to seeing your next one Lee.

Please stay around.

I had a spell without one, but when you get a chance to buy another you get that excitement all over again - I was making a to do list before I'd even agreed a price

All the best

Such sad news, all the best for the future.

I'm sure you will end up buying another one day, I did after selling my two wedgewood blue 75's. I swore I would never buy another, but here I am today with two ZT's.

May I ask... how did the insurance company worm they way out of paying?
