Cast Aluminium T-Piece - Coolant 1.8 Turbo Engine
I see there's now a cast aluminium version available for anyone looking out for a Gerry-T alternative.

That looks perfect, unlike the gerry tee which was anything but.
I had one made by Gerry, and it was mild steel painted silver and the angle of the turbo feed pipe was wrong requiring rework. Adding insult to injury, the paint dissolved in the new antifreeze, meaning I had to change it again I've not seen one like that before, however I would say it's an essential upgrade to any 1800T owner Brian |

Anyone got any experience of the seller micjon4 ?
He's got a load of mgr goodies, but only 55 trades against his name. Seems low for a long time trader, particularly as he has 59 positive feedbacks in the last 12 months alone. The numbers don't seem to add up. If he's known in the scene as a legit trader, I'm happy to be proved wrong as he has some nice stuff, but I'm always a bit cautious about eBay.

I've noticed similar. Sellers popping up on ebay with lots of interesting 75/ZT stuff, then disappearing almost as soon as they came. What happens to it all?
Here's another T-Piece in stainless: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZT-Rov...MAAOSwldRaTBYO TC |

Seller djdjukic? Snappy name. Dispatched from Leeds, seller in USA. One stop shop for all your Rover 75, Sinclair Spectrum and Bic Biro needs.
Then when you click on his feedback, his location is Serbia. I'm going to give this one a miss

On a serious note, excuse my ignorance, but what is the potential problem with the original part? Come to think about it, where is the original part? Just wondering if I need to add this to my 'to do' list

The plastic OEM T-piece is a classic failure point on the petrol/turbo coolant system - if you open your bonnet - look to the left of the engine bay - snug behind the top of the radiator - the main hose from the thermo goes into this t piece at the bottom- the one in the advert is a Turbo t piece as the little angled pipe feeds coolant to the turbo. As good quality metal t-pieces only come along so often I would as MarinaBrian advises purchase this while you can if you have a 1.8t engine. Sometimes the Turbo t piece turbo angled pipe is manufactured at the wrong angle but this one looks perfect.
