Default Orange brake pad warning light on dash rover2004 1800 turbo

Could somebody tell me ware to locate the sensor so I can replace this thank you andy

Front & rear d/side, blue plug with the wire going to the caliper. You can always cut the 2 wires just in front of the sensor & join them together

NO !!

Under no circumstance cut the wires to the blue plug, this is the ABS sensor, the adjacent plug looks the same but black is the one Ronnie means

Btw Bri, did you know Gary lost Roxy the Rotty the other day? Had to have her put down due to cancer, very sad

Ah no, what a shame, she was a lovely hound too

I knew she had a few lumps and bumps, but the last time I saw Gary, early December she was her usual self.....a nip before I got the treats out of the jacket pocket.

I'll have to make the effort and have a run down soon.

The warning came on when I was away left the car with quick fit as they were busy rang me to say the pads were nearly new so didn’t replace them the warning came on when I went over a speed hump I’ve cleaned the blue and black plugs in the engine compartment still on so I guess it be the o/s wheel off next thanks !

The sensors become unreliable when they've been disturbed for maintenance work, if you do regular checks link out the wires... or replace the sensor.

Replaced the sensor checked the lead broken wire by the shock absorber all sorted now thanks for your help
