In-line stat fix
Hi everyone, today I fitted the in line thermostat kit took the car for a spin to get up to temperature which it did nicely on the 9 o’clock position, put the heater settings on high but hot air is only coming out of the passenger side and the upper screen vents any ideas chaps thanks as always

Have you vented the little plastic screw in the hose? Mine wouldnt operate without overheating untill properly ventd.

I've recently sorted a coolant leak following a split hose. Back in August with AC on, we'd just driven 35 miles in mixed traffic, so engine was quite hot. My engine was approaching overheating but I had no idea, it wasn't until I turned air con off after I parked, that I heard the cooling fan was still running . I used function 7 and it was at 106° however the dash gauge was stationary at 9 o'clock. So be warned! I'd lost about 3 litres, fortunately I keep 2 litres in the boot and I topped up with our drinks bottles. Soon dropped to 87 ish. |

Passenger side only getting hot is an unusual one. check the blend motor on the drivers side.
