100,000 drivers on 10 or 11 penalty points.
Are we heading for another kind of driver shortage with 100K drivers just one offence away from a driving ban The licence bureau did 830000 licence checks and also found 5000 drivers who shouldn't have been on the road https://www.fleetnews.co.uk/news/car...om-driving-ban

loads of drivers with 12 points and more, they just plead hardship or some other clap trap and keep their licence. They have had a number of chances but some knob keeps giving them more chances to ignore.

My view too. Yes, we can all have a lapse from time to time, it happens. And there's some highly questionable practises particularly around changing the limit on motorways/main roads when there's absolutely nothing happening, but you've had a fair few "warnings" to rack up enough points for a ban the next time round. Choices and consequences. |
