Passed it's MOT this morning with 2 small advisory 's, 2 brake pipes corroded/covered in grease.

I've owned the car from less than a year old,buying it direct from Rover.The thing I wanted to mention though is that from day one there has,on many occasions,been some grinding of gears when selecting reverse.However since carrying out the procedure recommended by sworks (Mark) in post #6 I no longer get any grinding into reverse and all gears select easier than ever before.One to remember I think and try if you are having similar issues.
