My thoughts exactly Ronnie, the diesel is by far and away the most problem prone of all of the models.
Guess what the most reliable Rover 75 is.............

In answer to the original question, could be anything from flooded ecu to broken EGS or just a knackered starter motor, could even be a faulty key

He says it doesn't even crank.....faulty crank sensor maybe?
Think it definately needs a T4 on it for confession.

Hi.
They probably think that the "internals" of the engine never go wrong which is reasonably accurate, its the peripherals that give all the problems.

will say i always slated the 1.8 but the old tourer we use to run about in has been great no problems so i will openly say sorry they are not bad.
