Try this for a wild guess:
Don`t suppose it could be anything to do with time zone settings?
GPS settings clashing with the units` settings? (you don`t say what`s running the GPS)

Certainly worth cleaning the SD card and have they checked the security of the gold screw in connector for the GPS module. In the lab we describe these as French Connections after a great Post Doctorate Researcher from France whose soldering only ever created dry joints!

Is it particularly cold there. My older unit has been cutting out in the mornings here in the frosty conditions.

If driving for long periods of time, with car heater on - might be electronics overheating?

Hi Klarzy , Ask and ye shall receive !
Go to GPS in the Settings And Switch GPS SOund to MIXING to get

Your settings are wrong on the parameters if you are getting 20 Minutes to go 247 Miles ! You have to adjust your settings

Hi Sean,

it was mixing fine but now I can not have radio in the background when sat nav is on or nav instructions when radio is on, it shuts the app down not just mutes the sound...

did have some missing file messages a while back and this may be the reason..
I have not changes any files on the SD...

The music USB and SD also cut out and crash periodically...

is there a more detailed manual on the unit than the small booklet included??

Just an observation, remember you are able to download other navigation software from the Google Play Store to use on the Android head units if you want to try something other than Primo

In my saloon I have a bracket for Nexus 7 and used the app "Navfree" I found that to be fairly good for a free navigation app.
