any tips of fitting old arms to new sub frame
My new front sub frame has arrived and am just wondering if there is any advice on fitting my old arms to the new sub frame.
I have cleaned the holes with mentholated spirit and worked out the anti roll bar goes on after the arms have been fitted. macafee2 |

Same procedure as if you were fitting new ones, I’d recommend a new nyloc nut or a dab of picture on the old nut.

I'm not sure if the upper arm bush wears - but might by worth thnking about replacing it while the arms are off?

A light smear of grease on the taper of the centre ball pin is essential
Check the rear bushes, if they're clapped, now is the time to replace them, and a dot of loctite on the thread when reusing the nyloc nut. Do not lubricate the ARB bushes when refitting Brian |
