I don't mind money spiders but anything larger i'm petrified of so my solution is to get my mum to move them for me . Which depending on mood involves either a slipper or a spider catcher.

They watch you .
I know they do . They freeze when you walk towards them and the know when to run . And I'm sure when you sleep they walk across you . Or maybe it's just me ? |

I visited my daughter and partner in Oz a few years ago. Returning from a great meal out in an Anzac club near Sydney, her partner stopped me going down the path we'd taken on the way out just a few hours earlier. Flashlight revealed a web five feet wide across the path with a spider about six inches across the legs in the middle. It looked like it had four legs, but apparently this type parks it's legs in pairs. It spun that web across the path in the time we were away. I would definitely have freaked out with that on my head! Got a photo somewhere, but could I find it?

It's a Saint Andrew's cross spider. VENOM TOXICITY - the bite of the St Andrews Cross is of low risk (non-toxic) to humans. They are a non-aggressive group of spiders. Last edited by COLVERT; 1st October 2020 at 19:39.. |

Just had to exterminate another big beastard this get had hidden beside the dirty washing., so had go carefully move d the washing, then basket, no sign.Cack!! what to do now grabbed a torch and saw the end of a leg below the skirting board as there is a gap at the back of the laminate flooring. One large screwdriver poked under to squish the gyt then soaked the gap with spider repellent and duck taped the gap. Will I sleep tonight? Hmmmm
