I understand the vaccine cannot be removed from a temperature of -70C more than a few times, so how is it going to be kept cold enough during it's travels and storage?

I'll be getting it as soon as it's available. Even though I'm still only in my 40s, my health circumstances mean I've had to adhere to shielding since March, and I will be continuing to do so until I get the shot(s). I want to get back to leading a normal life and earning a living without having to risk assess something as basic as going into a shop or a pub, effectively gambling my life on whether a non-mask wearing, asymptomatic person might infect me. It's not just the question of whether or not I would survive a severe dose, but also the greater likelihood for me of surviving it with long-lasting after-effects - kidney damage, lung damage, brain inflammation leading to stroke, inflammation in heart tissue, and so on. Any of these outcomes would be additional to my existing health issues and would have a substantial detrimental effect on my quality of life, certainly for longer than I've been shielding and potentially permanently. Regardless of pre-existing conditions or age, these after-effects can and do afflict a large number of survivors, and I don't think this gets enough attention.
Aside from my personal health, I have reason to hope that as many people take it up as possible. I have a small tourism business, and I don't want a large proportion of my customers to decide not to come and stay here because they see it as too great a risk. I am very sure that I'm far from unusual in this regard, as the same will hold true for airlines and cruise ships, B&Bs and restaurants, pubs and cinemas, sporting venues and anywhere else that people congregate to spend money. In order to "protect the economy", people have to want to participate in it and protecting them through a mass vaccination programme is the quickest way to achieving that. PS I've read that the Pfizer vaccine can survive in a "normal" fridge for 24 hours after being removed from the -80 environment, but in any case it would appear that there is research being carried out to determine how it can be kept in such moderately chilled conditions for longer.

All I can say is, we are in good hands
If the powers that be, are only half as knowledgeable, as some of the contributors to this thread, we have nothing to worry about

Hi, We are planning a campervan holiday to Morocco as soon as possible in new year. End of February would be good. We could do with documentary proof that we have been vaccinated as well as a recent Covid test. Not sure if that will be forth coming from NHS, we might have to pay to get it done privately.
