Correct answer is NO there is no difference with the EGRs on the engines so any of the EGR bypass units will fit. The best ones to get would be the ones with the side plate fitting so it goes into the manifold pipe. The others mean you have to remove that pipe altogether or lose it breaking off and losing all power.

Of course they do. It's just the ECU mapping is different. ( The system is the same. ) It gives 116 or 131.

You obviously have an eyesight issue. You appear to read what you want to, despite what is on the page: I'd implore you to go get help, but I don't care enough about you. Even MB says that there is no difference in the linked thread, you obviously read it through colvert tinted specs.

Anecdotally I changed mine from a CDTi to a CDT one day when washing it. I accidentally knocked off the 'i' while enthusiastically cleaning around the badges. You know what? It was just the same afterwards apart from the missing 'i'.
