And it now looks like he will get a knighthood in the New Years honours list.

Err, no! This is why he falls flat on his backside on both counts with those in the UK who do not do as he and his ilk do. Those who pay their full contributions day in and day out here in the UK and can differentiate with the likes of racism and opportunism.

Considering Saviles' charity work and the claims against him should be he hailed a hero or a villain? Celebrities private lives ........ are not private.
What Hamilton does and says will go into the public domain for all to see and if they want to remain a hero they need to consider their actions.

The "disagreement" between the wives' of footballers Vardy and Rooney is currently in the public domain.

Jimmy Savile's private life was not a secret so why did it take so long for him to be exposed. ( OOOps. ) You know what I mean.

Do you mean I need to investigate the private life of every celebrity ???--As a detective ??

That would be ridiculous. Not enough time in a persons life to do that.

Unless, of course, your career was being a detective.

Like I said in my post I'm a motor racing fan. I don't feel the need to investigate the private life of any sports personality.--There are lots of folk out there doing that already called news paper reporters.

The scurrilous lives of evil people should be reported in my opinion.

What all this chat has to do with a racing driver I just don't know.--

Anyway, Merry Xmas.---

By not exposing, was that keeping a secret?

Not quite sure what you refer to WillH. Certainly his income tax position is not the same as any ordinary PAYE chap and I have no personal knowledge of his affairs. Could you possibly elaborate?

Good question. Ditto for Sir Sean Connery and Sir Richard Branson? Oh also Sir Jackie Stewart who allegedly maintains a home in Switzerland?

I don't think that it is necessary to elaborate on the obvious. Suffice to say that most UK taxpayers do not live in a tax haven nor do they jump on a bandwagon sporting a false race card and infect a sport with their personal opinion and politics.

This thread is about the diva that is Hamilton, why not start your own thread as per site rules if you don't want to stay on topic. Has it never occurred to you that some people might get really tired of seeing threads attacked by those who wish to see their opinion and their opinion only discussed on the boards.

OK, have it your way.

Just trying to make comparisons to put the Hamilton position into some sort of context.

I enjoy life on here, I don’t want to fall out with anyone, so shall we cool it?

John lydon tried to tell the world about Saville, because Johnny wasn’t liked by the medi very much back then, no one listened.
