Steve, thank you very much for supplying this service. I have now fitted the compensator and it has transformed the handbrake operation - which has pretty much been borderline since new!

You should receive the original compensator tomorrow.

A valuable modification Arctic.

Bought a new one and welded it. Certainly not the easiest component to replace, that's for sure.

Anyways, my old one is spare if any use to anyone for the updated mod?

I've started dreaming about my handbrake needing to be pulled 90degrees to get it to hold the car (I know, I have very strange dreams).

I did read the first post, and the last page but didn't see it explained how the scheme works. Can anyone direct me to the relevant post?

got mine sorted today, handbrakes working like a well handbrakes supposed to now took the car over to steve and we (mainly steve) did it,also got to learn about a few more mods from a seasoned 75/zt veteran.

Hi Simon.
Dont forget to keep check on that fan and see what temp it kicks in.

Also thank to Richard Bell/Graham brown for returning the compensator much appreciated but very that a couple are still outstanding from November 2011 why hope they turn up asap cheers Arctic.

Arrived this morning two compensators so big thank you to Mr Lates, and Ray Squires by the way Ray what as been going on with your compensator its held together with a cable tie below
