Default Paint match for Liquid Silver MBS

Hi,
I'm wanting to refurbish my star spokes and just wondered if there are any off the shelf paints that are a good match for Liquid Silver because as far as I know it's unavailable as an official paint colour from x-part.

I've heard that BMW Titanium Silver is a close match, would anybody be able to confirm this for me?

Thanks in advance,

Clifford.

Liquid silver is a completely different finish to sparkle sadly.

Hi cliff done a bit of searching and it appears you will not get liquid silver anywhere as mg did not register the formula,so it is none existant so your only alternative is the bmw one which is a very close match.

I can't recommend anyone to buy Silver Sparkle aerosol paint code MNH. It's over expensive and dreadful stuff to apply. I suspect the last aerosol batches made were under-propelled, they sputter quite dreadfully.
I've never attempted an 'equivalent' from a paint specialist, but it's gotta be better than this.

The seller of this item http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rover-mg-m...34809251893472 supplied me with liquid silver touchup set, which was an excellent match. Perhaps he can supply you with a larger quantity - I tried to find a powder coater who could do Liquid Silver, but failed!

Hi Tommy,

City powder coaters do a semi decent match, i'll get a photo up of the set they've done for me as at 20 a wheel.

Cheers for the info guys, I popped into Rimmers this afternoon while I was out on my bike (such nice weather, I couldn't help myself lol!) and they pretty much confirmed that it's not available officially.

Cheers Jake, I await your pics!
