Self-mending ?
My 75 has passed its MOT at the usual garage , and once again has demonstrated self repair powers . Last year it had an advisory for slight wear in a suspension joint , and this year it didn't . I couldn't find anything last time so took no action as it has been known to repair itself before now
Magic !

Many advisories are subjective - it may be the same garage but a different tester, or maybe he is in a better mood. I never have an MOT on any of my fleet on a Monday or Friday. Usually works !

Self-mending ?
I took my Bentley Brooklands to my local tester once as time was against me etc. etc. and it failed on several points
I was amazed as Bentley serviced and MOT'd the car annually. So in the end my stupid actions resulted in getting the car collected by Bentley and quess what - oh yes passed no issues! Lottery? A mate advised I never use our local garage as they often fail cars to pick up the repair work. I'm not sure I believe that or at least I hope it isn't true I wouldn't have let them touch the Bentley anyway.
