Good morning Steve

When you go to the vets to get tranquillisers for Pops, which ones does she take? and what does the grooming involve?

Recently a nephew was telling me how his Fox Terrier has to be anaesthetised in order to have the dogs teeth and gums cleaned at a cost of £40. I had never heard of such a thing as it is not something we’d be doing in Kenya.

Morning Phil, its actually pukka low dose diazepam (valium) she gets! Grooming involves a bath, dried, clipped and nails done. Suzy and Maya are chilled enough that we can do them ourselves but Pops, although she loves cuddles etc, does not like even us manhandling her. She isn't really aggressive but gets almost hysterical, no idea why, as far as I'm aware she's never been hurt by a groomer, she just hates the process.

This one was taken with the 'proper' camera about 07.00. Before sunrise!
