Welcome to the club. I am a member of 4 x forums for my cars and this is by far the best in my opinion.
I had a CDTI but it all clouds over  EGR clean or bypass Plenums. Really important on a CDTI Intercooler pipework o seals Demist test for cooling fan test. Check your boot for water Check sunroof drains (sorry did it have a sunroof?) I'm on my 4th car of this marque ( 2 R75s and 2 X ZTs) and they really were the best kept secret on the road. Ask questions as there are answers everywhere.
