We took a ride from home to Redcar, then down to Whitby before heading home today. TM worked normally on the A1(M) north, A168, then A64 - everywhere we would normally expect it to work. It even flagged up a slow down on the A1 due to heavy rain.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Drove down the M1 today and the system worked fine. It also worked on the western part of the M62 but by the time I reached the M6 is had gone off again. Perhaps, it is being turned off in sections/area? Sad to lose it, if so.

I did note that when traveling the length of the M3 Southbound from London on Tuesday, the display did go blank completely around Farnborough / Fleet, then came back on again for the rest of the journey.

I wonder if they are indeed switching off selected roadside sensors. But why? Just turn them all off at once surely

David & Graham, thanks very much for those reports. As anyone who has reviewed this thread's history will see, I was sceptical that the claim that our Clock Alert system would cease in June was wholly accurate, and here we are getting towards the end of August and they're still working!

Simon.

Have to,travel 70 miles, form my home to see a blue pole so I won't be too concerned about it. It was fitted to my citreon c5 which I bought new in 2003 but after the first year I'd have to pay an expensive subscription and didn't see point of it
