Look forward to seeing that Andy. I've been researching in the background for a few months, but never found anything that could be done cheap enough.

i have the boot off my 7 series so no cost to me at all fingers crossed i can re make it fit dont see this as a great option unless you can get parts cheap of ebay last time i saw the motor for a 7 series boot lift close on ebay it was over £300 so if i can get working i may have the only one ! there must be other cars with this function indeed my new range rover has it but there must be cheaper parts available to adapt will keep all informed as to progress
