If I could have got him he would have been bald.
The slightest movment and he was away. It was one of them times where you had one shot and hope. thats why I guess its one on my top ten. |

I would have tweeked it more like this. Nice shot though, I always like lighting playing an important part in the image.

I went for the soft un sharpened vintage look and set the white balance to cloudy to over cook the warm colours, sort of vintage 70's look

It's great fun trying different settings to get different effects. Good way to learn also. Your cats make great subjects Jeff.

Anyone taken anything they are pleased with or maybe want some ideas on how to improve their shot?
Don't be shy and post them up

A popular site offering a full critique for those who want it. I have been well received and taking my time to get to know the forums etiquette. So far, so good My best photos for the critique are on my laptop which I accidently smashed up in Nairobi on the way here.. A mystery system password on the Mac Book had kicked in and prevented me from getting pass the welcome screen, but I did manage to back up the photos to iCloud and the Sea Gate drive before I left London. I don't think I will be able to access them from the ipad? So critiques will have to wait until I am able to get the laptop repaired. The DVD disk drive is also kaput. |
