Loved the Fiat X1/9 they did last series, I have a few memories of one of those many years ago. Going on a promo they have done it looks like Edd China is joining the team, wonder if he goes back to see Dave at Soda Blasting and hogs his equipment again, they couldn't get him off it last time!

It would be a great programme if it wasn't for "parts blagging petrol head Tim " He's just annoying

I wish they removed the pretend drama from these programs, it's not needed. Also they pretend they do the restoration in a few weeks. Anyone who has ever restored a car knows the bodywork alone can take months alone. A friend who is restoring a Jensen had been waiting 4 months just to get his engine rebuilt and apparently he won't be getting it back for at least a couple more months yet.

Love the program, I agree that Tim is annoying but thats what the fast forward button is for. That said I believe he is quite a nice guy

I think it was Tim who failed a re-take of his driving test in an old series of 5th Gear. He's not as annoying as he was but I always wonder what the rest of the crew really think of him. Hope Edd China joins the show.

I always have at the back of my mind that it is a programme made for TV, I know Fuzz has a genuine business in Oldbury, but Tim does annoy me too.

When his wife sold his Lotus for 50p was classic 50p Lotus link.

Otherwise I enjoy the show.

I never miss the programme but a couple of episodes have annoyed me and that is when a car is restored for someone who is obviously worth a bit more than a few bob.
One such car was an Aston Martin and the owner had a 'bad back' but was flying around the world as some sort of executive. He didn't seem that overwhelmed when he got it back !

One of my favourites was the Ford Capri RS 3100 when the lady had been hit by a barn door ? and couldn't function and had her car returned probably now worth a healthy 5 figure sum.

Well low and behold she appeared on Bangers and Cash a couple of weeks ago and as well as still having the Capri, she had a huge car collection and the land and property to house them all so not sure what's going on there

Some episodes were pure tear jerkers however and have had me wiping my eyes.
