Default I've lost my cursor

Out of the blue my laptop has no cursor or arrow to move around the screen. I move it with the pad below the keyboard.
I've searched for remidies and tried 3 so far with no result.
Phones have their limits so I rely on the laptop for invoicing and using a full website instead of apps to do other work.
Any solutions? Which button do I press?

I'm up and running again. Good old YouTube tutorial!

I had the same problem with an Apple Macbook Air. Good old Google to the rescue once again!

Long Shot, but not managed to set up the laptop so it thinks you are using a second screen/monitor.
Curser then is just moving to the screen you do not have connected?

Good point. I'm wondering why I got it back briefly and lost it again. 2 years fault free and now it's playing up.

Kept happening to my previous laptop, so I just bought a mouse 😎 There is a setting you can change but I'm sure you've done that
