Default bx registered car

hi all; i have an mgzt 2.5 v6; its reg is bx51***; have looked in the service book and it was registered a full month before it went for a final preparation at long lawford prep centre; does any body think it may have been a mgr staff car or a mgr demonstrator vechile

I would guess that it was registered just to get the numbers up.

My Connie SE (auto) CDTi is BX 53, registered Sept. 2003. Was told the few miles on it was from ferrying visitors back & forward to the NEC but I'm sure it was also to get the number of registrations up.They were desperate to push sales and there were plenty available at vastly reduced prices. Think full price was about £23,000. I paid about £17,000

also warwickshire police cars marked and unmarked start with the registraions BX 9/10 times like my local police (the next town along) use FJ on theres

maybe it was bought for the force and never used,

I have a Rover BX51 reg connoisseur 2ltr V6, and I read somewhere that BX reg cars were originally demo cars, and as such were prety well loaded with extras
I have electric rear blind, rain sensing windscreen wipers, auto dim rear mirror, heated seats, full air/climate control, as well as usual SE extras.
Does your car have a high spec ?

not very hi specced; car had very low mileage for first three years of its life and no history in the service book; 2nd owner from 2004 and thats when the service history starts; just seems a bit strange to me
