Default Will a tourer tailgate fit inside a tourer

Hi,

Does anyone know if a tourer tailgate will fit inside a tourer ? Looking to pick one up but before I do want to make sure I can get it home without needing to hire a van.

Thanks
John

hi John.
hmm I'm pretty sure it wont tbh as rear opening on tourer isnt as big as we'd like them to be. I think best chance would be lift out rear seat base and it might fit in rear door ?
time to get tape measure out eh

Yes, it will fit, you will have to drop the back seats of course and it fits sideways if I remember correctly, (you can even fit in a rear bumper at the same time)

Definitely will.

I have had a complete tourer tailgate and a tourer rear bumper in the back of my tourer with the back seats down.

I have transported a complete tailgate from Birmingham to Kent in the back of my tourer. Back seats down of course. Probably wise to have a few old blankets or the like to prevent the tailgate being carried rubbing and damaging interior trim - its a tight fit in the load space.
