Default Rear brake pipes

Just had an MOT failure on rear brake pipes corroded on my 2003 75 Tourer. Looked through the forums I've seen quite a few posts, but does anyone have any pics on where the front union connects and also how the pipes go over the rear tank/how you access them by dropping the tank?

Does anyone offer pre-made kunifer pipes?

Thanks.

Can't see any diagrams on Rimmer's, nor any pipes for sale on eBay. But I wouldn't say the brake pipes go over the tank, but rather around the top of the tank. The joint is quite far forward, approx. under the engine bulkhead.

Had a rear pipe leak on my latest V6, typically it was the rusted where the clip is, adjacent to the tank. As the rest of it looked ok I decided to repair just the rear section using a clamp adapter (like a household water pipe compression joint), no leaks and holding six months on.

Regards

Thanks, Vitesse. I think I need to get it up on some stands and take a good look.

For the front union, is that under the bonnet scuttle panel?

No, accessed from under the car you cannot miss them, drivers side.
Offside brake pipe is easy peasy, drivers side as said either reroute around the tank or run car until tank is almost empty and remove the four fixing bolts that will allow you to move it enough to fit the new pipe

Just a little bit of a thread highjack but is there anyone that supplies pattern kunifer brake pipes/sets of pipes for our cars.
Even on the youngest examples they will be +18 years old and must all be getting a bit on the dodgy side, often appearing in comments on here as MOT advisories.

Can't see there being much of a market - transporting them would be a problem, and people currently either make up and fit their own (easy enough to do), or get a local garage to make them up and fit them.
