My first RWD car was an 18YO BMW 735... Much sideways happiness happened with that car...

Imho they ruined the transit swb when they introduced fwd for it. Lot's of fun could be had in one of those rwd when you got used to them.

Not to mention traction in the snow!
You could put everything/everyone you had over the back axle and go almost anywhere.

V16 Auto Union's were chucking the cars into corners and drifting around in the early days of GP racing. The reason being, the brakes were gone and it helped to slow the car down.

I know I'm showing my age.
