London looks like it is going to 'hot up' nicely though

Morning all - lovely and sunny here today, but still not short-sleeved shirt temperatures yet - it can only get better.
I'm off for a short back and sides and a coat of wax on top this morning - getting a bit shaggy
After that - replace the guttering on the side of the garage and fit my newly purchased water butt. We're having a water meter fitted, so I'm keen to get as much free water as I can.

It’s just as well you are retired Rod, that you have the time to do these projects Today we started to build a bridge from concrete and steel. The first stage is the foundations. It sounds a bit snobby, but it’s for guests and visitors, as the bridge will take them away from seeing the back of our house, the water tanks, the veg garden, staff quarters ......

Morning Jeff - how are you and Ros doing - both enjoying your new career I hope?
Once I've sorted the garage, I then need to take the rear bumper off the Honda to replace a dodgy reversing sensor - then I need to do some jobs I promised on son's go-kart - busy busy !

Morning Phil - I've got this list of "things to do today" - including washing and polishing the caravan, writing my speech for the daughter's wedding (!) - and then start planning for our annual journey South with the tin tent - Gloucestershire, Cornwall and Warwickshire this year
Think I'll rename the list "things to do - sometime"!

We had a spot of luck over the weekend, I staked £2.50 on Tiger Roll on the Grand National for Jessica and myself. Tiger Roll came in the winner, a little windfall

Hey nice one Phil, It's always good to get one over the bookies.

Not been a bad day at all, I got some more gardening done & re-seeded some patches on the lawn where I raked a ton of dead moss out.

Mr Brains faggots for tea with new spuds carrots & green beans in garlic butter.
