My van only small but great construction, the sides are just one solid GRP panel, because it’s small it comes with big problems, small van = small chassis.... so standard fitting of a motor mover is not possible, so now have to design an adapter kit to fit the motor mover to the chassis. An unexpected challenge but fingers crossed.

My mind may be playing tricks on me but I have a feeling that there may be something that fits in the tow ball that has motor and you direct it as you do a boats outboard motor, point to opposite way to where you want to go.

New carpet fitted in the caravan today. The next one that I have to do in the house will seem easy after this.

And tomorrow we start to change the awning and trim rail inserts to replace the old shrunken and sun damaged white trim with some nice fresh dark green.

I buy most of my spares from these companies.

https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/ This is where I bought the 12mm trim, cost about £30 to do the lot.. Don't forget to put a drop of non hardening mastic under each of the trim end caps when you refit them.

https://kenmorecaravans.co.uk/ These have a good ebay store with fast delivery.

Cheers Ian

Great to see these vans being spruced.

I've missed two trips in mine this year but luckily mines not quite 8 years old and very clean so all I've done is give it a couple of washes over lockdoen and spent a couple of weekends in it on the drive!

Having a few kids it's about as big as you want to drag behind a ZT weight-wise but it tows so well. I love it.
