Default Drivers door not opening

Driver's door won't open from the inside or the outside.
All the other doors work. anyone know if I can access a lock mechanism from the top of the door card that will pull away just an inch or so ?
I have read previous posts but I cannot see what part of the mechanism I have to access ?
Thank you

Hi Steve.
It is most likely the white clip which as slipped due to it being plastic on a metal, it will be hard to reach with the door card on i am afraid.

Once you do gain access pull or push on the lever the white clip is connected to and the door should open, once open you need to sort out the white clip by moving the clip up or down until the door opens, once it does put a cable tie round the clip to hold it in place.

Many thanks for replying. I love these cars but the little problems are doing my head in !!!!! As I cannot open the door would it be easier to cut a hole in the door card ?
I cannot see me getting the card off without damaging it
I had intended to make the car perfect

Just follow the how to guides, take your time and be patient. Be prepared to break a clip or two and replace as required. The first time is the hardest! A tin of spray cavity wax is useful if you have the card off to save the inner door paint.
