Nigel, can you not shave with an electric razor? Even if it just takes the thick off, it may feel,a bit better. Just a thought,get better soon anyway.

Can't control an electric razor on my face as I have tissue damage to my wrists and fibromyalgia. Tried one off and on over the years and just can't manage it. That aside, I'm stitched up in such a way that I can't get any sort of razor anywhere near it. In theory I could shave half my face but it's the growth on the surgery side that's annoying me most. Funny thing is, I had a full set for twenty years but having taken it off a few years back I just can't let it regrow, drives me mad. All that being said, it's hardly the end of the world.
