Nigel, can you not shave with an electric razor? Even if it just takes the thick off, it may feel,a bit better. Just a thought,get better soon anyway.

Can't control an electric razor on my face as I have tissue damage to my wrists and fibromyalgia. Tried one off and on over the years and just can't manage it. That aside, I'm stitched up in such a way that I can't get any sort of razor anywhere near it. In theory I could shave half my face but it's the growth on the surgery side that's annoying me most. Funny thing is, I had a full set for twenty years but having taken it off a few years back I just can't let it regrow, drives me mad. All that being said, it's hardly the end of the world.

as been said, no harm having a good blow, we all need to now and then

but you certainly have the right frame of mind. things will get better and it'll be one of those "do you remember when" times, get well soon. jonno
