I've read multiple times that the big screens in new cars (especially BEV's) are going to be the next real estate money grab for car companies because they're not going to make their money on parts/servicing like they used to on ICE vehicles. Are we going to see a lot of extras going on a OTA (over the air) DLC (download content) for these new cars with new apps or advertising space

as BMW have just announced that they're selling heated seat subscriptions for $18/month amongst a host of other vehicle options I get included into the price on my MG ZS EV

What's next? Airbags for $50/month
